I'm working on a community portal and want to allow users to be able to add various xmod records (member profiles, venue listings, events) to their favorites section. There would be a link that says "Add to Favorties" and the member would be able to view all their favorites by category on their mypage.

Is this something that XURLP could do? I'm trying to imagine what would need to happen behind the scenes. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom

Well, I can try I'm no developer, so keep that in mind...

A link on the xmod detail page would say something like "Add event to myCalendar". When the user clicks the link, it would pass xmod ID, user ID and flag for favorite type (event). The data would be stored in a db table and retrievable via SQL to display all the current user's favorite events. Also, there would need to be a way to delete a favorite event.

The favorite option would basically work for any type of record. I have no idea if that makes sense of how it would be implemented. Thanks in advance.

Any new development in this area? I would love to see an Add to Favorites option where users can create a favorites list. I am wanting to use XMod for displaying real estate and this feature would be great to have.
