Hopefully by now, some of you have been able to download and install the beta version of XMod Detail View. If you've run into any issues, please post them on this forum. Also, if it is running correctly for you, I'd like to know that too. Best, Kelly |

Kelly, I got the following comments while installing the addon. I'm not sure if this is a real error or my stupidity. Error During Install. Installation Log: Starting Installation Reading files Loading Configure.ascx File configure.ascx read successfully Loading Configure.ascx.resx File configure.ascx.resx read successfully Loading DetailView.ascx File detailview.ascx read successfully Loading DetailView.ascx.resx File detailview.ascx.resx read successfully Loading Help.html File help.html read successfully Loading KnowBetter.XModDetailView.dll File knowbetter.xmoddetailview.dll read successfully Loading KnowBetter.XModDetailView.dnn File knowbetter.xmoddetailview.dnn read successfully Loading License.txt File license.txt read successfully Did not find any installation file (.xmi) Errors and/or warnings were encountered while attempting to install file. Please refer to the installation log for more details. I searched in the manual and found out that 3 options had to be disabled in order to disable the processing of xmi files. I have done that and i still received this error. Regards, Marc |

Hi Marc, The XMod DetailView is a separate PA. So you should install it like you would any module. It shouldn't be installed using XXMod's Package installer. Best, Kelly |

Hi pchanez, Is it a problem with just a few constants (if so, which constants) or all of them? Best, Kelly |

I am also having problems with the constants in a form when a user is logged on. This only happens when the user is not an administrator and does belong to a role. In this case the form is not shown to the user and the following message is in the screen: "Module Load Warning One or more of the modules on this page did not load. This may be temporary. Please refresh the page (click F5 in most browsers). If the problem persists, please let the Site Administrator know. " If no user is logged on or if administrator or host is logged on this does not happen. Any suggestions about this problem? Regards, Richard (I am using Xmod 4.5.2 on DNN 4.3.4) |

"...get the DetailsView module to work with a custom XMod Manager" I have created a separate thread for this: http://dnndev.com/Forums/tabid/215/forumid/24/postid/21592/view/topic/Default.aspx |
