This code shows the average of the ratings already in the database for the current detail view and it works:
<xmod:field name="Company" /> Overall Rating <xmod:ratings location="xmod" fullimage="fullstar.gif" emptyimage="emptystar.gif" ratingscale="5" showrating="true" /><br/><br/>
I want this code to allow another rating to be added:
<span>(Click a star below to add your rating)<br /></span>
<xmod:ratings location="xmod" fullimage="fullStar.gif" emptyimage="emptyStar.gif" ratingscale="5" allowratings="true" />
but it doesn't work. It shows the same static value as the previous code. How do I get the detail view to allow ratings to be added?
Can anyone tell what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

I believe that each user can only add 1 rating.
we don't make XMod, we make it better!
