After using this product, I find that it is very flexible and most things can be worked out with a little thought. I am using this extensively on a new site and it saved me a ton of development money. Great product!

It takes a lot to get me to write a review but this product did it. It is so powerful and flexible it's just amazing. There are just so many places where you need a list or a table and this module makes it so easy to build the input form and the display. I got a little fancier and built a product catalog with uploadable PDFs and images. I could format the display of the catalog to conditionally show images if they were there and wrap a link around them. Really cool. Highly recommended.

I have to say, I am impressed. I mean I have been working with XMod since v1. So I can easily say that I was concerned over moving to a whole NEW version. But WOW! This is exactly what all of my customers really wanted. Something that can connect to existing tables in SQL, a wizard to create base forms, quick and easy modifications to templates and forms, and best of all the ability to store data in my own SQL tables. Version 2 of XMP is even better. Much easier to work with than ever before. This is great. All of my customers are already happy with what they have seen. This is a true HOMERUN for DNNDev!

Wow! I've been working with different 3rd party form modules for about two months and nothing was working as it should. I just purchased the XMOD module and within an hour I had what I needed. It takes some time to learn some of the functionality, but not because the module is confusing, but because there is so much functionality. The user manual is over 400+ pages. This tells me that there is a lot of time and commitment to this product. Other user manuals for other forms modules are 10 pages, and you end up spending days in the support forums trying to get answers. Kudos to this product. I have been around DNN now for over 4 years and I still can’t say enough about the XMod DNN module. It has allowed us to custom build several different data-driven web applications for our clients and all completely painlessly. The module itself is very user-friendly and immensely powerful yet the applications we build for our clients are super easy for them to use. XMod is by far the most productive piece of software we have purchased to date for DNN and is a major component of our development arsenal.

I purchased XMOD quite a while ago and set up some basic forms and was amazed at how simple it was. I recently had to create a few more complex forms and am very happy with XMODs flexibility. There were times where I got stuck but the documentation is great so I could solve my problems quite quickly using the documentation and the forums. Keep up the good work! XMOD rocks!!!

I needed to be able to enter and display tracking data for several Dotnetnuke users, without them seeing each others information. I was originally just doing a quick mock-up with Xmod, when it became obvious I had a live, working system with no coding! Needless to say, my 'demo' went very well and I got the contract. Absolutely essential module for anyone developing a DNN site. This module lets you develop almost any kind of data driven content for your site, really the limitation is your imagination. Fantastic support from the developers. You absolutely will not go wrong with this.

Kelly - just a quick follow up: I purchased XMOD 3 upgrade yesterday and the calendar add on. I installed it, read the help files wrote some simple xml fragments, and within an hour (start to finish) had a custom calendar module built and deployed for user testing. (One of the pre-built calendar styles even matched the sites color palette exactly) So far this morning, I've had real positive responses from the people testing the application. My only problem now is: can I bill clients on what it would have taken me to build custom components from scratch or what it really does take me with XMod!

This is an amazing module. With XMod, we cut the development time for on custom DNN module from 20-60 hours to 8-10 hours (this would have probably been even less in the hands of a developer with more current skills). As an added benefit, the module we created also has a clear upgrade path to DNN 3.0 without us having to rework a custom module we developed. In this case XMod saved our relationship with our client and paid for itself many times over. I can’t say thank you enough for this excellent product!

If I had only gotten XMod sooner I could have saved lots of time and some $ that I spent on other modules. This is a great way of doing custom development in DNN, without building a lot of individual modules. I have only had it 1 day and it is working great. The possibilities seem endless.
