As of version 2.0, XMod allows users to sort the results displayed in lists and grids. Administrators can also set a default sort order which determines how records are ordered, prior to any sorting options the user might choose if user sorting is enabled by the administrator. Default sorting is set up in the Configuration form for each module.
Select "Configure XMod Module" from the Actions menu of any XMod module.
On the "General" tab, make sure you have a data-entry form selected. XMod uses this to determine which fields to make available to you.
On the "Data" tab, find the "Default Sort Order" area and select which field you want XMod to sort on from the drop-down list box.
In the next drop-down list box, select which direction you'd like to sort in - ascending or descending.
Save your changes and exit.
