You get a Select command that executes your customized SQL query when the form first loads - useful for pre-populating the form with existing or default values - and a Submit command that executes your insert/update SQL query when the user submits the form in DotNetNuke. Beyond that, there are others such as the Delete command and Control data source - used to populate dropdowns and form fields with results from a SQL query.
